MAS Observatory Astrophotography Showcase
This MAS astrophotography gallery displays images taken by our members using MAS observatory equipment. It is meant to showcase the power of our observatory equipment as well as the talents of our members. For this section, you can use MAS cameras as well as your own camera equipment, as long as the Telescope used to capture the image is MAS Equipment. When submitting images, please provide enough information about the shots so others can attempt similar exposures.
There is another Showcase area where Member Astrophotography is displayed regardless of the equipment used, as long as there are no conflicting copyrights.
In conjunction with this project, we have displayed an "Observation List" below for all the Messier Objects. We hope to gather images taken by our members of all 110 Messier Objects using MAS observatory equipment.
If you would like to image any of these objects, or already have images that belong in this area, please submit them using the below email address. If you would like to let others know that you intend to take images of a certain object, you can send an email to the same address below and we will list you as "assigned" to that object.

When we have atleast one image for an object we will create a webpage for it and the link will be on the right side. This does not mean that other images of the same object can not be submitted - in fact - we want more than one image of each object. All images are welcome and will be added to the webpages as long as they are of adequate quality. As we mentioned, this is a showcase of both members talents and MAS equipment capabilities.
To submit images to this showcase use the same procedure as for our normal showcase. It's as easy as emailing them to:
