Jim Toeller Observatory / F-Scope

Jim Toeller Observatory / F-Scope Jim Toeller was a long time founder member. He served terms as President, Vice President, and was our Treasurer for over 10 years..

An avid amateur telescope maker, he was instrumental in the construction of the Portascopes, including grinding the mirrors.

The Jim Toeller Observatory was totally updated in late 2015 and is now our observatories 4th rolloff roof structure. It houses our F-Scope, a Stellarvue SVQ100 F5.8 Astrograph on an Astro-Physics Mach1GTO mount and a ZWO ASI 2600MM Pro camera. It can be remotely controlled from the lower level of the Z Dome in the control room.
