Membership Information
The Milwaukee Astronomical Society is a Non-Profit organization that is supported by the time, talent and dues of its members.
Membership is open to all with an interest in Astronomy and expanding their knowledge of the Universe.
Whether you are an experienced observer or just starting out, membership in
the Milwaukee Astronomical Society brings you together with a wonderful
group of people who are passionate about all aspects of astronomy.

Yearly membership dues are:

Individual | Individual membership is for
a single person and does not include any family members. |

Family | Family memberships include all members of your immediate family: spouses and children. |

Youth | Youth memberships are for
any individuals under the age of 21. |

- 12" f/9 Newtonian reflector in a dome
- 12" f/7.4 Newtonian reflector in a dome
- 10" Schmidt-Cassegrain in a roll-off roof
- 18" f/4.5 Dobsonian reflector in a roll-off roof
- A second 18" Dobsonian reflector which can be used on the grounds.
- 9.25" Schmidt-Cassegrain in a roll-off roof.
- 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain imaging telescope in a dome
- 12" LX200 computer controlled scope with digital imaging
- 100mm f/5.6 Astrograph refractor
- Multiple 10" and smaller portable telescopes
- 80mm H-Alpha solar telescope and a 127mm solar telescope in a SkyShed POD
- Two UniStellar eVscope Smart Telescopes. An eVscope and eVscope 2
- Multiple concrete pads with available power for portable and member scopes
- Saturday Night Member's Night. Every Saturday is set aside for our
MAS members who are not keyholders. This is your night to use the
equipment and get help from an experienced member.
- The Focal Point newsletter emailed to you.
- Mentoring by long time members in all aspects of astronomy and observing.
- Access to the MAS Google Group
which includes the ability to post and view messages, images, and files.
- Optional membership in the Astronomical League.
